The CDTA certification process ensures that its member teachers are thoroughly qualified prior to entering the organization.  Students are assured that their dance instruction is in the hands of an independently accredited professional.

The CDTA syllabus was developed to ensure that students are taught proper dance technique in accordance with nationally recognized standards.  The syllabus provides teachers with both a guide of instruction and a measurement of students' progress.

Parents are aware that an accredited teacher can make the difference to their child's good health and well being. They appreciate that their child is being taught by a qualified instructor in accordance with nationally recognized standards and a proven program of instruction.
