syllabi in the following dance disciplines:

  Acrobatics Dance Back to Top

PAEC respects and cherishes the legacy left to us from the classical traditions of the great masters of the past.  The PAEC syllabus was developed utilizing training techniques from all methods of ballet.  Examinations on this syllabus are offered to students of PAEC members.

  Ballet Dance Back to Top

PAEC Ballroom has two categories - International Latin and International Ballroom. The syllabus is based on "The Technique of Latin American Dancing" published by the ISTD and "The Revised Technique" by Alex Moore. Membership is available in the levels of Affiliate (student teacher), Associate, Member and Fellow.  Amateur medal tests may be arranged for students of PAEC members.

  Folk Dance Back to Top

This discipline offers the opportunity to train and to be examined in the historic dances and choreography based on authentic movements originating in Scotland.

  Jazz Dance Back to Top

Several different programs are available for individuals who wish to learn more about international folk and obtain teaching certification.  Examinations are offered to students of PAEC members:  children exams for ages 7 - 17, and for adults, amateur, professional and fellowship.

  Modern Dance Back to Top

The  combination of dance technique and acrobatics, forms this graceful dance discipline.  Movements flow into flexible bends and stretches and the strength of balances and aerial challenges give this dance form its breath taking  appearance. PAEC Examinations are offered in acrobatics.

  Tap Dance Back to Top

Baton students develop ambidextrous skills along with physical fitness, self confidence, gracefulness and quick thinking.  Twirling for individuals as well as groups, teams and corps is a most beneficial and enjoyable endeavor. PAEC offers  its Baton syllabus to member teachers and their students.
